SBR Based Multipurpose Polymer For Waterproofing & Repair

SikaLatex® SBR is a synthetic rubber emulsion which when added to cement slurry / cement mortar / concrete / grout provides good adhesion and water resistance. It comes in the form of a milky liquid. It is fully soluble in water and is to be added directly to the gauging water of slurry / mortar / concrete / grout.

Sika-101h is a ready to use cement based powder capillarywaterproofing system for concrete and mortar to prevent water infiltration or seepage of water in the area of low pressure of concrete structure or any cementitious substrate.

USES - Sika -101h forms slurry consistency when mixed with water. When it is applied to the concrete substrate it forms insoluble crystals inside water bearing capillaries and seal against further seepage of water. Sika-101h blocks the pores in concrete structures such as-Basement-Reservoirs-Sewage water and effluent treatment plant-Tunnel and underground subways-Foundations-Swimming pools-Underground parking structures-Water tanks

Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP is based on modified styrene butadiene latex supplied as a ready to use bonding agent in liquid consistency. It is used for repair of spalled concrete – floors, columns, beams, chhajas, slabs & waterproofing of toilets & bathrooms, small terraces etc. as it bonds strongly to old & new concrete and to plasters. It reduces shrinkage, prevents cracking, dust pick up & improves abrasion resistance. Areas of Application 
For concrete repairs - Spalled concrete of floors, columns, beams, chajja, slabs, parapets, etc.
 For waterproofing – Small roof terraces, sunken portions of toilets & bathrooms, chajja & lift pits, balconies

Application
Mechanically clean the surface to remove all loose particles, dirt, oil, grease etc. Vacuum clean to remove all loose material.
 Economical waterproofing – Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP with cement in ratio of 1:1.5 by weight and apply in 2 coats. Protective screed is a must
As repair mortar – Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP at 10-15% by weight of cement in 1:3 cement-fine sand mix for use as repair mortar along with 20 % water by weight of cement to the workable consistency £ As screed concrete - Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP 10-15% by weight of cement to a screed concrete of proportion-1:1.5:1.5 (cement:sand:6 mm aggregates) along with 20% water by weight of cement. Mix the content to a uniform consistency
As bond coat in repair – Mix Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP with cement in 1:1 ratio by weight & apply on a pre-wetted substrate. Overlay repair mortar when the bond coat is tacky

Description

Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K is 2 parts polymer-modified flexible cementitious waterproofing membrane coating specially formulated for Concrete and Masonry Surface which is supplied in ready-mix kits (2 parts). When the dry part is mixed with acrylic-modified emulsion and applied according to direction, the cured. The application can be applied on damp surface and Excellent waterproofing property - No leakage up to 10 m. hydrostatic pressure. Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K will become a tough, flexible and seamless waterproof membrane and acts as an excellent water barrier to Concrete and Masonry Surface.  Concrete foundations, basements wall and lift pits.
Swimming pools, water tanks and reservoirs
Concealed roofs, parking decks, bathroom, toilet, kitchen, balconies and planters.

Method of Application

1. Surface Preparation

Allow new concrete and masonry substrate to fully cure prior application.
All surfaces must be free from oil, grease, wax, dirt or any other form of foreign matter which might effect adhesion. Spalled Concrete must be sound before applied.
Substrate should be reach a "Saturated Surface Dry" (SSD) condition (damp, without standing water) 2. Mixing
 Using Portland mechanical mixer, slowly add Powder part to Liquid part in a clean container until a smooth and homogenous slurry mixture is achieved.
 Allow the mixed slurry to stand for 5-10 minutes for releasing air-trapped during the mixing prior to application. Mixing material must be use within recommend pot life.

3. Applications
Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K slurry can be applied by brush. DO NOT dilute with water. Recommended total coverage rate is approximately 2 kg./m2 (Minimum 2 coat.)
Allow the slurry to cure for at least 1 hour before applying a second coat.
4. Curing
For maximum protection, allow 12 to 24 hours curing time after the second coat.
Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K requires at least 7 days before filling spas, swimming pools and water tanks with water as well as mock-up or ponding tests on site” to ‘requires at least 7 days before filling spas, swimming pools and water tanks with water as well as mock-up or ponding tests on site’
5. Cleaning
Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K can be removed from tools and equipment immediately after use with clean water, only hardened material can removed mechanically. 

Drying and curing times are determined under controlled temperatures and relative humidity below 60%, and at average of the DFT range for the product. Surface (touch) dry: The state of drying when slight pressure with a finger does not leave an imprint or reveal tackiness. Dry to over coat, minimum: The recommended shortest time before the next coat can be applied. Dried/cured for service:

 Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K is not suitable for traffic area application.
Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K is a pre measure package. Do not dilute with water or add any more sand or cement.
 Dr. Fixit Pidifin 2K do not be applied by roller Packaging ??? 15 kg/set (2 part : Powder 10 kg and Liquid 5 kg)

Storage

12 month storage in sealed container and room temperature.
